The San Diego Community College District celebrated 50 years of serving millions in the San Diego area, and I was honored to create the cover for their 'WE' (With Excellence) magazine's commemorative 50th-anniversary issue. Published three times a year, 'WE' highlights major District news, events, and the accomplishments and challenges of faculty and staff who advance the District's mission to deliver accessible, high-quality education.

With access to a vast archive of images spanning the District’s history, including City College, Mesa College, Miramar College, and the College of Continuing Education, I explored several creative approaches for the cover. I focused on the number 50 as a central design element, ultimately choosing a scrapbook-style treatment of photos within the number and a recreation of the original 'WE' logo. This final design celebrated the District’s legacy while staying true to brand guidelines.
